An innovative brand gets an online makeover tailored to a mobile generation
XITE knows the best way to enjoy your favorite music is through video. And they just love music videos. Everything they do is focused on providing the consumer with (personalized) music videos.
Since 2008, XITE Networks has been broadcasting linear television and offering its VOD services on several platforms. Now, XITE provides more than 15 million households in the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany and Qatar with the most popular music videos 24/7. In 2015 they innovated the way to watch music videos with a world’s first: Personalized Music Television. This music video service allows you to like and skip through all videos and create the perfect personal music video channel.
Can you assist us in designing a new website that explains the brand values and what PMT is.
The main challenge was aligning the various changes that XITE was going through internally. XITE was rebranding and evaluating the general content strategy AND requesting a new website. The brand is growing strong and they wanted to evaluate the basics, so that everything is aligned when the brand flourishes.
We started by keeping the user in mind. In just a few workshops, we were able to define the user personas, who they are and what they do. What do our users want? What do we want them to do? We went beyond just the website and challenged the general marketing-communication strategy.
With all the input provided by XITE we could start designing customer journeys, wireframes and responsive designs for the web. Over 60 sketches, artboards and try outs later we delivered a new XITE website, ready for the developer team to work with.
Lunar Gravity has always been output-focussed. In the end we delivered 3 large assets: learnings for the marketing-communication team to further build on. A graphic design for a new multi-language website and a guide for the developers on how to use the various modular templates which would ultimately also further help strengthen the brand.
